Who is Epona Mounted Archery
Epona Mounted Archery is run by Fiona Hunt (AKA Fee).
Fee first tried horseback archery back in 2020 with her horse Rocky. From the very first arrow flying, Fee fell in love with the sport. Over the next couple of years, Fee dedicated herself to learning as much as she could about the sports, becoming a British Horseback Archery Assosciation Club Coach in 2022. In 2024 she worked her way towards becoming an Intermediate Coach, and finally in 2025, Fee reached the heighet level qualification you can reach in the UK, Advanced Coach.
Fee has been dedicated to growing Horseback Archery arcoss Wales and the surrounding areas and continues to give the sport the exposure it deserves. While working with many beginngers, Fee is also experienced in working with both horses and archers at a higher level, working in group settings and on a 1:2:1 basis.
Epona has options to suit everyone. Epona has started a club called Usk Valley Raiders, based at our home at Field and Forest Track Livery, Abergavenny. We welcome both ground and mounted archers, beginners and experts. While we currently cannot hire horses out, you are welcome to bring your own to learn on or have a go on our mobile nelly.
We at Epona Mounted Archers, are also happy to travel. If you have an arena or a suitable field, then we can come to you!
